Imelda Lazaro
Aesthetician laser and spa
I am over the hill but young at heart. I've been in the beauty industry over 40 yrs since Jr high school make up for bridal parties and hair dressing in high school.
Extended my career to an esthetician. I love giving my full attention and expertise to clients.
I love the out doors riding horses ,quads, camping, fine dining and being around family and friends.
*Imelda is currently off on medical leave but will return as soon as she can!
Kara Biendarra
R.M.T laser and spa
Kara is a 2200 hour graduate from M H Vicars School of Massage.
She offers a warm and welcoming environment, making sure you are heard. She listens to the body to make every treatment tailored to her client’s needs every time they are on her table.
Kara offers therapeutic and relaxation massage but believes a balance between the two approaches often result in the most effective massage session. While deep is her preference, patient relaxation
and comfort are still the ideal goal.
Dalene McDonald
Nail Technician laser and spa
Hi I’m Dalene Mcdonald, I have been in the nail industry since 1986 I specialize in acrylic, poly acrylic and gel nails , I taught for OPI from 1987-1997 through Alberta and Saskatchewan, I also taught at NAIT for 3 years .
I also am a lash extension technician for 9 years , I do Classic, Hybrid , and Volume and custom mix for personalization ,I love making everyone feel beautiful.
I have grown up in St. Albert and I have 2 beautiful children my daughter Breanne and my son Brandon and I have four crazy dogs that are awesome. I happy to call St. Albert my home !
Adrienne Myers
Senior Laser technician & Electrologist
Adrienne was born on Canada’s west coast, but has spent the majority of her life right here in St. Albert.
In 2008 Adrienne completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Alberta majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in Sociology. In 2014 she achieved her Laser Technician certification from the Cosmetic Laser Institute and has been at Off the Hook Laser and Spa ever since.
She hated turning clients away when they weren’t candidates for laser hair removal, so in 2017 she was bound and determined to learn the art of electrolysis. Her passion is hair removal and her work days are usually spent using one of our top laser or electrolysis machines. She strives to design the best treatment approach for each individual client, sometimes using a combination of both techniques to achieve the best results.
Adrienne is also an Oilers fan and avid skater, teaching Power Skating and playing hockey. She also loves traveling, having explored South America, Europe and Asia.
Amanda Taylor
R.M.T
Amanda has been a registered massage therapist since 2008. She started at Off The Hook Laser and Spa in 2014.
She is experienced in craniosacral and Myofascial therapies, as well as Reiki and fascial cupping.
These therapies work well together to treat chronic pain, acute injury from motor vehicle accidents, repetitive work injuries, stress, tension and sleep issues or a chronic illness.

Dallas Fleming

Hi, I am Dallas! I graduated from the Alberta Academy of Aesthetics in 2012 and am trained in a vast range of esthetic treatments. Knowing that the industry is constantly changing; continually advancing my education and training is especially important to me.
I chose this industry because I love meeting people and helping them feel like their best self. I find my years of hands-on experience gives me the ability to help all my clients feel comfortable and taken care of no matter what the service may be.
I take a lot of pride in what I do so whether you are a looking to update your skin care routine, clean up those beautiful eyebrows, pamper your hardworking feet or simply just to relax; my knowledge and meticulous eye for detail will ensure you receive a top notch experience every time.
Lauren Dolce
Laser technician / Electrologist / Aesthetician
Lauren was born in Niagara and started her love for the beauty industry at a young age working at a hair salon during high school. Her curiosity and "Joie de vivre" brought her to Montreal where she wore many hats but ultimately came back to the industry. Becoming a medical esthetician and laser hair removal technician ignited her passion for pampering clients.
She took the opportunity to relocate to Alberta, and join our team at Off the Hook Laser and Spa to further grow her skills as an electrologist. She offers a no judgment environment when tackling your hair removal goals.
On her days off you can find her indulging in the spa life at home. A candle, a face mask and a recipe is all she needs.

Mackenzie Rollheiser
Electrologist / Aesthetician
Hi there my name is Mackenzie!
I grew up in Hinton working in various jobs until I discovered my passion. I moved to Edmonton to pursue my training in spa therapies. I graduated aesthetics school and completed my electrolysis at Alberta academy with honours. Although I love esthetics, electrolysis quickly became my favourite treatment.
Since then I have committed myself to constantly trying to learn new ways on how to perfect my craft and make my clients feel comfortable and happy with myself as their technician. My goal is to make my clients feel as comfortable as possible while we work on getting their permanent hair removal goals accomplished.
Lia Crotenko
Aesthetician / foot care specialist / electrologist
Hi, my name is Lia and I have been in the aesthetics industry since 2013.
Five of those years I worked as an educator for both The Alberta Academy of Aesthetics and Eveline Charles Academy teaching bacteria and sanitation; anatomy, physiology; manicures and pedicures; artificial nails; and waxing. I decided to go back to the aesthetics world full time as I missed my one on one treatments with clients.
One of my favourite services to offer are medical pedicures to help take care of clients who have ingrown nails, or clients who are elderly or diabetic that may need extra care and attention. I have assisted many clients with foot health or nail concerns to help find long lasting solutions that last between their in spa treatments with me.
The main factor that brought me to the aesthetics industry is my client care and attention to detail. My desire to pamper and take care of others has made this a very rewarding career path for me.
Leanna Fox

After spending over 30 years service providing, teaching, managing, directing and consulting in North America and Europe, ownership seemed like the most natural next step for me. I felt I had seen and experienced the good, bad and the ugly of the industry and knew what worked for me and what didn't.
My goal was to create a special and different kind of space for clients, and a genuine family of empowered co-workers who support each other; a place where people from all walks of life could truly feel at home. Inclusion has always been extremely important to me. I believe we all need human connection (even introverts like me) and thus wanted a fun and social place where strangers could become friends and people could find support , kindness and acceptance.
I believe in leading from behind and have been so lucky to have acquired an incredible group of humans to work beside. I feel all jobs in a business are equally important to the puzzle, and together we make Off The Hook. No one is highlighted as being "the business" because not one of us is. Off The Hook is what it is because of what we do together. So finding me on a stage or in a spotlight without the rest of the team would be a rare event.
I am forever grateful for the incredibly passionate, kind, inclusive and driven people that I get to work with every day and the clients that make what we do worthwhile. Especially those that join in to my random outbursts of singing.
