Microdermabrasion

Procedure:

Controlled micro aluminum hydroxide crystals are vacuumed across the skin.  As the crystals pass over the skin, they virtually erase imperfections and sun damage.  Dead cells are picked up which helps to stimulate new skin growth.

Fine lines and Wrinkles
Acne Scarring
Chicken Pox Scars   Stretch marks
Dark & Pigmentation marks &
Small facial scars
Hypertrophic scars Surface Capillaries
Black & White heads

Treatment:

Need to have a consultation with the esthetician to come up with a treatment plan for your skin care  needs.  Will be done at the beginning of the 1st session. 

Generally need between 3-9 treatments of 30 min each, depending on the areas/issues being treated, to get the desired and best results.
(Book 1 hour appointment for 1st treatment for consultation time)

Results are immediate but maximum  improvement is progressive and slow.
It is fine to book 1 treatment only, you will see results but will get better results with a treatment plan.

Does it Hurt:
It can be mildly uncomfortable, a gentle suction/vacuum sensation.  Feels like a cat licking you.

Contra-Indications:
The procedure is non-invasive, very minimal contra-indications
It depends on how aggressive the treatment is to work on your specific area.  (For example, an aggressive treatment on a scar can cause peeling for a few days after the treatment.)   However, the 1st treatment will never be very aggressive, we need to see how your skin responds.

But can experience:

• peeling of the epidermis
