Cancer patients who have experienced hair loss

Off The Hook has been treating cancer patients with hair loss for a number of years. The success of the treatment depends upon the degree of damage to the hair follicle, which cannot be determined visually. Approximately 50% of cancer patients have success with Low Level Light Therapy, and likewise, approximately 50% do not have any results from treatment. Currently we are offering all cancer patients 6 months worth of free treatments with the Stimulase™ Professional Laser. If no results are seen within 6 months of treatment, then Low Level Light Therapy will probably not be deemed effective for future use. At 6 months time, if results are being visualized, we then ask that you begin paying for your treatments, or conversely purchase the Hairmax™ Laser Comb and continue your treatments independently.

Stimulase™ Professional Laser
The Stimulase™ professional laser is a large laser that you sit under. It has 112 lasers contained within 7 moveable heads. It allows for the lasering of large surface areas and as such is recommended for advanced hair loss, or for more intensive laser therapy. We recommend two treatments a week, lasting 30 minutes at a time.

Hairmax™ Laser Comb
The HairMax™ Laser Comb is a hand held laser with 9 diode lasers within it. It is recommend for anyone who may prefer to undergo the laser treatment in the privacy of their own home, or for those who are not able to travel to and from treatments. The HairMax™ Laser Comb covers smaller areas at a time and thus would take longer to cover larger surface areas. It is therefore recommended for clients with mild to moderate hair loss, or to augment treatment with the Stimulase™ Professional Laser.
