  1. Treated areas may be tender, slightly red and swollen. The vein or lesion may look red for several days before it is reabsorbed by the body. Antibiotic cream maybe applied for 24 hours after treatment.
  2. Blisters may occur in sensitive areas, especially when treating pigmented lesions. Should this occur, an antibiotic ointment may be applied twice daily until the site has healed. Do
    not irritate the blistered area.
  3. Slight scabbing of veins may occur within 2-14 days after vein removal. Do not remove or irritate scabs. Apply an antibiotic ointment twice daily until the site has healed.
  4. You may shower the day of laser treatments. The area should be washed gently with cool to warm water and mild soap, pat dry and do not rub.
  5. If you wish to apply cosmetics, we recommend a mineral makeup which is naturally
anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory; and will protect your skin from ultraviolet rays, as it is a full sunblock.
  6. Avoid direct sun and sun bed tanning for the course of treatments, and for 1 - 2 weeks following treatments. Please use a sunscreen of SPF 30 or greater.
