Skin Tightening Info and FAQs

How does it work?
The combined Bi-polar Radio frequency and light energy heat the dermal tissue within the treatment area. This stimulates collagen production which, in turn, produces a firming effect on loose skin. Skin becomes more smooth and elastic.
By stimulating new collagen growth, the dermal layer of the skin can virtually be remodeled.

Is skin tightening for me?
Skin tightening is safe and effective for all skin types. All skin colors can be treated for laxity, sagginess, loss of elasticity, or textural irregularities.
Treatment can be done on face, neck, or certain body areas.

When can I expect to see results?
Most patients see gradual and cumulative results throughout the tightening treatments. The total number of treatments depends on the treatment area and skin’s condition.

Does it hurt?
Skin tightening is a gentle, comfortable treatment requiring no downtime. Cooling of the skin through a chilled laser tip enhances safety and additional patient comfort.

How many treatments and how often?
Treatment sessions are typically 3-4 weeks apart and most patients will require
between 3-5 treatments.
Each treatment session typically takes half an hour, however, when booking treatments book a one hour time space.

What are the risks to skin tightening treatments?
