Hair Rejuvenation/ Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT)
Low level light therapy (LLLT) ,also known as laser biostimulation, involves the conversion of light energy to chemical energy in order to enhance cellular function. The laser energy is absorbed by active color pigments within the cells of the scalp, in order to change their function without causing temperature changes. Some of the results of laser biostimulation include:
- increased energy within the cell
- enhanced repair of damaged cells and improved cellular function
- improved reproduction of the cells necessary to grow hair
- increased blood supply, which allows for more nutrients to be absorbed and cellular wastes removed more efficiently
- increased antioxidant function which serves to repair free radical damage
Prime candidates for LLLT Hair Rejuvenation include:
- those experiencing male or female pattern baldness, (Androgenic Alopecia)
- those experiencing Alopecia Areata
- hair transplants clients
- cancer patients whom have experienced hair loss
- persons with over processed or chemically damaged hair
